AgRally Adjusts Date to Coincide with National Agriculture Day

IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AgRally, the new national, yet local farm show will be broadcast again on RFD-TV while also being hosted locally at dozens of Certified Agricultural Truck Dealers across the country.

Westfield, N.C. (January 25, 2022) – The Certified Agriculture Dealer (CAD) Program, and their partner RFD-TV, are announcing that “AgRally, America’s New Live Farm Show™” will be moving from June to March 22, 2022 to help bring a local flavor to the Washington D.C. events scheduled to celebrate National Agriculture Day.

“While our initial version of AgRally in June was highly successful,” noted Patrick Driscoll, “It only makes sense to coordinate with the Agriculture Council of America and engage dozens of our Certified Agriculture Dealers across the country to extend this celebration to their local ag communities and rural America.”

“We’re excited to have the Certified Ag Dealer Program and RFD-TV were able to adjust their scheduled date and become a sponsor of National Agriculture Day,” says Amy Bradford, Board of Directors Chair for the Agriculture council of America. “As an organization we are uniquely composed of leaders in the agriculture, food and fiber communities and dedicated to increasing the public awareness of agriculture's vital role in our society.”

“This will mark the 49th anniversary of National Ag Day, which is celebrated not only in Washington D.C., but also in classrooms and communities across the country,” added Jenny Pickett, Executive Director of the National Agri Marketing Association and organizer of National Agriculture Day activities. “AgRally will certainly help us bring a larger audience and more local venues to increase that societal awareness.”

The theme for National Ag Day 2022 is “Growing a Climate for Tomorrow.” On March 22, 2022, ACA will host a virtual Ag Day event and other events in Washington, DC. Additionally, the organization will bring college students to Washington “virtually” to deliver the message of Ag Day to Capitol Hill. A core leadership team of college students will attend in-person events.

Another feature of Ag Day 2022 is the Celebration of Modern Agriculture on the Mall. The events honor National Agriculture Day and mark a nationwide effort to tell the story of American agriculture. Many agricultural associations, corporations, students and government organizations involved in agriculture are expected to participate.
